Step 2 — We'll be in touch
We may ask for more details and photos. If your pieces align with our curation, we'll reach out with next steps to book an appointment with our pricing team.
Step 3 — Prepare your items
All items invited in for an appointment must be freshly washed, laundered, and folded prior to your appointment. Please make sure to check pockets, compartments, and bags for personal items.
Step 4 — Pricing & selections
Our pricing team will make their selections based on brand, style, condition, seasonal relevance, and current customer demand. Proposed pricing will be emailed to you within 1–2 weeks. When your item sells, you receive 50% of the final sale price, minus GST.
What we accept
We carefully select each piece to align with our curation, considering brand, style, season, condition, resale value, and customer demand. Items with major condition issues — including holes, stains, odours, or excessive wear — are not eligible for consignment. Bruce does not knowingly accept or sell counterfeit items.
Bruce may set minimum item quantities and other consignment conditions. These may change at our discretion based on factors including season, stock levels, and customer demand.
Acceptance isn't guaranteed, even for brands or items we've accepted before — and in rare cases, an item may be declined after it's been left with us if a condition, authenticity, or other issue is discovered.
Items previously purchased from Bruce may be reconsigned, but go through the same selection process as any other item.

FAQs
How and when do my items get priced?
Bruce decides the price of accepted items and will email proposed pricing within 1–2 weeks of your items being assessed. When pricing, we consider all aspects of an item, including brand, style, condition, customer demand, comparable sales at Bruce, current availability, and original retail price.
How and when do I get paid?
Consignor payments are processed twice each month, on the 1st and 15th. If either date falls on a weekend or public holiday, payment will be processed on the next business day. You're responsible for providing accurate bank account details at the time of consignment, and for letting us know if they change. You can also choose to leave your consignor balance on your account as Store Credit.
What if my item doesn't sell?
After the 6-week minimum consignment period, you can submit a collection request by email, giving us at least 48 hours' notice. We'll confirm by email when your item is ready. Alternatively, we'll get in touch when your item's consignment cycle has ended and let you know when it's ready to collect.
How long do I have to collect my unsold items?
Bruce has limited storage space, so consignors are responsible for collecting items when requested. Items must be collected within 30 days of us notifying you that they're ready for collection.
