Consignment & Collection
Items are consigned for a minimum of 6 weeks. During this period, Bruce may move your items between our three store locations.
After the initial 6 weeks, you may request collection by giving at least 48 hours’ notice.
Items marked as passed or flagged for collection must be collected within 14 days of notification. Items not collected within this timeframe may be donated.
Bruce does not consign counterfeit, replica, or fake items.
Bruce does not store or return shoe boxes, hangers, or dust bags — these will be recycled or donated.
PAYMENT
Consignors receive 50% of the final sale price (excl. GST).
Payments are made by EFT on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month - after close of business.
Consignors must provide correct bank details (BSB & Account Number) to receive EFT payment.
If bank details are not provided, payment will be made as Store Credit by default.
Consignors are responsible for keeping their bank details up to date.
DAMAGE
While we take every care to handle and present items to a high standard, all consignments are left at the owner’s risk.
Bruce is not responsible for damage caused by customers, theft, or fire.
Items that become unsuitable for sale will be removed from the floor and made available for collection.
Bruce does not repair, clean, or alter items unless agreed in writing by a director.
REDUCTIONS
Items will be listed at full price for a minimum of 4 weeks.
After 4 weeks, items may be reduced by up to 20% if we believe this will assist in securing a sale.
Further reductions may be applied at Bruce’s discretion if items remain unsold for an extended period.
Reductions are made with consideration for the item’s condition, seasonality, and customer demand.
Reduction schedules are not guaranteed and are applied at Bruce’s discretion.
